Environment

The Cumbria Business Environment Network (CBEN) is part of Cumbria Rural Enterprise Agency and provides environmental help, advice and support, to all businesses in Cumbria through free audits to identify where energy, waste and water savings can be made. The CBEN Awards are based on an international standard of environmental management and businesses work towards the Bronze, Silver and then Gold award.  The Gold Award is awarded to companies who have developed and Environmental Management System and reached a high level in identifying risks, put into place procedures to manage their potential impacts and plan for continued improvement.

The Alpaca Centre has recieved the Gold Award but we continue to further improve our environmental measures.
